With ‘MOMENTUM - PART II’ spreading point completed the latest 2-volume mini-album series. The band’s 3rd release on ScentAir Records features 5 brand-new songs and 5 magnificent remixes from great artists of the scene - namely The Dynamic Master, People Theatre, Psyche, Shiny Darkness and Wave In Head. The sequel of ‘MOMENTUM - PART I’ links up to the band’s established sound and lyrical subject matters.
Sharing a common enthusiasm for electronic pop music, Olaf Himmelmann and Sandro Ringeling founded spreading point back in 1993. During their early years, the German duo self-released the albums ‘Confused Conditions’ [1994], ‘Second Step To Heaven’ [1996] and ‘… At First Sight’ [1998]. After a period of silence for more than 10 years, the band re-emerged in 2010 with the long-player ‘re-start’ followed by ‘re-start [re-mixed]’ [2013] and ‘MOMENTUM - PART I’ [2015]. spreading point stands for melodious electronic music influenced by 80s synth pop and is well-known for classic songwriting and catchy vocal lines.

“Permeate”, meaning “to spread or flow throughout”, is a word used to describe a ray of sunlight pervading a
room. Most of Heliophile’s lyrics are melancholic, but carry a hint of optimism, so thi s album title is the perfect
metaphor for that.
Musically, Heliophile aims to create catchy and timeless songs. The relatively dense, but carefully thought out
arrangements provide many clever subtleties that the listener can discover over time. Many of the sounds
heard on “Permeate” were patched by hand on a modular synthesizer. This instrument is a unique combination
of modules from many different manufacturers, big and small, from all over the world. Its thick and organic
tones cannot be saved, so when the cables are pulled out, not even the band can bring the sounds back exactly
as they were!
Although Heliophile celebrates the fact that synthpop is a type of music that brings brotherhood to people all
over the world, it was a long-held ambition of Gijs to sing a song in his native Dutch language. ‘Tranen van de
Regen’, a very personal semi-autobiographical break-up song, was the perfect opportunity to make that wish
come true.
With craftmanship, passion, musicality and artistic integrity, Heliophile brings you an album you can enjoy for
years to come. Fans of Mesh, Diorama and De/Vision should take notice!

ESH founding member, Aidan Casserly says -
"We're delighted to be teaming up with the Moscow based ScentAir Records for our 21st release since 2002. It's the perfect fit or album and record label. 'Romo' is a pure electronic pop album, with great chord changes, and surprisingly inventive riffs. It's a fine pop album too, and maybe the best ESH album in quite a while. No fillers or lulls, and each song delivers either a cool verse, memorable chorus, or just a great electronic vibe."

Russian synth formation LIE DETECTOR is about to release their long-awaited debut LP. Most of the tracks were recorded and mixed a long time ago and were simply waiting to be released in a physical form.
Members of LIE DETECTOR describe their sound as ECLECTIC SYNTH MUSIC. Victor and Sergey are constantly working with world-renowned artists in the role of sound producers, remix makers or arrangers. Aside from that, they are the biggest and most famous collectors of synthesizers and electronic musical instruments in Eastern Europe.
However, the creative and experimental drive of this duo does not end there. Their recently formed side-project called PRINCIPAL SCHEME OF LIE DETECTOR is a masterful take on brutal experimental music, a mind-bending clash of DRONE, AMBIENT, IDM and NOISE. Without a doubt, LIE DETECTOR is the only electronic outfit in the country that holds and organizes electronic music festivals in historical and space museums. For example, the band regularly puts on a show at The Memorial Museum Of Cosmonautics in Moscow. LIE DETECTOR’s live performances are not your regular live shows: each performance is a colorful theatrical celebration of music and art that always get an overwhelming emotional response from the audience.
Frontman of LD Victor Shejin-Burko is known as a prolific stage and film actor, lead singer of many musicals, a TV persona involved in popular projects like THE VOICE. Aside from that, Victor is a passionate pet owner and animal rights activist.
Sergey Alexandrovich Minko (aka RANDOM DISTRIBUTION) is widely famous in Russia and Europe thanks to numerous remixes and projects he has put out over the years. As a professional sound engineer, Sergey pays a tremendous amount of attention to the quality of sound, the mixing and the mastering of the material he is working on.
While working on a record or a live performance, members of LIE DETECTOR constantly collaborate with various musical acts from academic instrumentalists to children’s choirs and electro-acoustic performers, thereby expanding already broad horizons of their distinct sound.
Not long ago, a new artist joined the band — Maxim Panchenko (aka MAX WOLT) holds a deep admiration for the origin of electronic music in the spirit of legendary KRAFTWERK.
