This release includes two tracks from the projects Aka Shaka and Barbitura, which are different in sound, but have a common thread. Both tracks belong to the Drum&Bass genre, showing the versatility of Dan Jet's repertoire. Fans of the genre will appreciate the complex beats and bass and dynamic soundscapes. These tracks will leave a mark in the world of Drum&Bass music.

The first compilation of domestic Jungle and Breakbeat "Jungle Book" saw the light in 1997 and was released on three media at once - on audio cassette, CD and vinyl. In its time the compilation made a lot of noise and became a kind of a unique brand which is still being heard not only by the style's apologists. In 2000 the second edition of The Jungle Book Vol. 2". As usual, the "book" was divided into two chapters: Breakbeat and Jungle. In the new edition of 2023 we decided to stick to the tradition. For the third volume we selected the most interesting fresh tracks from the authors of the new wave, as well as from the masters of the scene of that time. We deliberately moved away from the reference sound of modern studios. We wanted to get that "dirty" "basement" sound, which can be safely attributed to the characteristics of Underground.
